Why Nothing
Has Worked
For mums whose child is struggling with addiction or mental health โ and who have already tried everything.
Everyone told you to detach. Step back. Let them hit rock bottom. Love them from a distance.
And something in you knew that wasn't right. Not because you're too involved or you can't help yourself โ but because they are your child. And walking away from that goes against everything you know to be true about being their mum.
You weren't wrong about that. The advice was.
There is another way โ one that doesn't ask you to stop loving them, or lose yourself in the process. This guide will show you why the advice you've been following keeps leaving you stuck โ and what mums who find a steadier path understand instead.

The guide has three short sections. The first explains why the advice you've been given โ the detaching, the rock bottom, the stepping back โ was never going to hold, and why that has nothing to do with you. The second explains something most mums have never been told: why by the time you're in the moment, it's already too late โ and where the real work actually starts. The third shows what changes when you get there. Including what becomes possible between you and your child.
